’કૃપા’ એટલે આશિર્વાદ અને ’સિંધુ’ એટલે સાગર આ સાગર એટલે જળથી ભરેલો સાગર નહીં પરંતુ આ એ અનાદીઅનંતનો છે જેમનું અસ્તિત્વ વિશ્વ નિર્માણની પહેલા પણ હતું પ્રલય થયા પછી પણ રહેશે. તેથી જ આ સાગર અનંત છે. આ ’પરમાત્મા’, ’સદગુરુ’ છે.
’कृपा’ मतलब आशिर्वाद और ’सिंधु’ मतलब सागर। यह सागर जलसे भरा नही बल्की यह उस अनादिअनंत का है जिसका अस्तित्व विश्व निर्मिति से पेहेले भी था और प्रलय के पश्चात भी होगा । इस लिए यह सागर अनंत है. यह ’परमात्मा’, ’सद्गुरु’ है ।

This great work has taken form from the dialogue between ShreeGuru Dattatreya and His disciple Shree Parshuram. It is an easy and simple account of the Aadimata Chandika’s Tridha form that is the Aadimata Gayatri, the Aadimata Mahishasurmardini and the Aadimata Anasuya. Describing this memoir, Sadguru Shree Aniruddha writes – “This is a sacred work, this is a gunasankirtan or praise of the attributes, it is the Ganges of knowledge, it is also the Bhagirathi of Bhakti (bhakti that flows from the bhakta back to the source, the Almighty) and, of course, the narrative about the Aadimata. यह परमपावन कार्य, जैसे इसका नाम दर्शाता है, माँ चंडिका के वात्सल्य का प्रत्यक्षीकरण है। सगुरु श्री अनिरुद्ध रचित यह कार्य भक्तों को केवल महिषासुरमर्दिनी माता चंडिका के आदर्श, कार्य और भूमिका से ही जोड़ने के लिए नहीं है, बल्कि उसके वात्सल्य से और उसकी हमारी संरक्षा के प्रति तत्परता से हमें अवगत कराना है।
वे चाहते हैं कि हम माता के प्रेम को जानें और उस शक्ति को पहचाने – वह शक्ति जो दुष्टता या बुराई से लड़ने की है, वह शक्ति जो नैतिक गुण और भक्ति के परिणामों से निश्चल आनंद की प्राप्ति कराती है। वह भले ही उग्र दिखती हो, वही सच्ची भक्त की सुरक्षा करती है और दुष्टों का नाश करती है। उस ने अपने उद्देश्य के मुताबिक – सच्चाई, पवित्रता, प्रेम और आनंद के नियमों की सुरक्षा हेतु यह भूमिका अपनाई है और वह इसकी प्राप्ति करती ही है।
गायत्री माता, महिषासुरमर्दिनी चंडिका माता और अनसूया माता एक ही है। विभिन्न स्तर के कार्यों के अनुसार माता रूप धारण करती है। जैसा कि सद्गुरु श्री अनिरुद्ध कहते हैं, यह कार्य माता की कीर्तियों का गुणसंकीर्तन है। यह एक ‘ज्ञान-गंगा’ है, और ‘भक्ति-भागीरथी’ है। यह कार्य ज्ञान एवं भक्ति के पथ पर चलकर भगवंत या यहाँ पर माता चंडिका के बोध के प्रति संतोष प्रदान करता है।
यह चिरकाल तक मार्गदर्शन करनेवाला यह ग्रन्थ सद्गुरु श्री अनिरुद्ध जी द्वारा लिखे गए उन के अन्य कार्यों की तरह भक्तों को प्रेम और आधार देता है।

ह्या आईचे प्रेम मानवी जीवनाला सामर्थ्य पुरवणारी शक्ती आहे. शुभ तत्त्वाला होकार आणि अहिताला वेळीच ओळखून नकार देण्याची शक्ती; भक्ती व नैतिकता ह्यांना दृढ करणारी शक्ती आणि साहजिकच तिच्या पुत्राचे -परमात्म्याचे प्रेम प्राप्त करण्याचा, त्याच्या जवळ जाण्याचा मार्ग. तिचे रूप सौम्य असो की उग‘, ती भक्तप्रेमापोटीच व कार्यहेतूप्रमाणे ते धारण करते व तिची सर्व रूपे शुभच असून भक्तकल्याणासाठीच असतात. अंतत: सत्याचा, शुभाचाच विजय ती घडवून आणते.
